Some families share the same smile, nose or laugh 😊. But my family shares the battle with breast cancer.
Breast cancer has touched me and my family too many times. My father lost his battle with breast cancer in 1997. Six months after that my mother got breast cancer and she remains a survivor today. My paternal grandmother lost her battle with breast cancer, as did one of my cousins on my mother's side. My other cousin remains a survivor today. And genetic testing revealed that I carry the BRCA2 gene mutation.
This year, I registered for the Komen Race for the Cure because I wanted to take action and be More Than Pink™. I want to make an impact in the fight against breast cancer and need your help. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today in support of my fundraising efforts.
Your support helps us get one step closer to a world WITHOUT breast cancer. 75 percent of the money raised through the Race stays in the community to fund local breast cancer education, screening and treatment programs. The remaining 25 percent supports groundbreaking breast cancer research.
Together, we are fueling the best science, boldest community and biggest impact in the fight against breast cancer. And we will not stop until this disease is gone forever. That's our promise. Will you please join me in this fight by making a donation today? 💗 Thank you for partnering with me to help eliminate breast cancer. XxOo ~Maggie
