We LIVE here. We RACE here.
We SAVE LIVES here.
What am I doing?
On March 9, 2013, I will join thousands of others playing a part in the annual Susan G. Komen Southwest Florida Race for the Cure. By making a donation on my behalf, you are supporting local breast cancer screening, treatment and education programs in our local community.
75 cents of every dollar raised by Komen SWFL stays right here in our five county area to fund treatment, screening and education programs
25 cents of every dollar is contributed to the Susan G. Komen National Research Grants Program to fund ground breaking medical research
Please help me reach my fundraising goal by making a tax-deductible donation today.
What does Komen do?
For more than 25 years, Komen for the Cure has played a critical role in every major advance in the fight against breast cancer – transforming how the world talks about and treats this disease, and helping to turn millions of breast cancer patients into breast cancer survivors.
Over the next 25 years, an estimated 25 million women and men around the world will be diagnosed with breast cancer if we don't find a cure. Komen will not stop until we discover and deliver the cures. That's our promise.
It is likely you know someone who has been diagnosed with breat cancer. Perhaps you or your spouse, a relative, co-worker, neighbor, friend, or someone in your life's circle that has heard the words, "You have breast cancer." You see, breast cancer doesn't care whether you are a woman or man, so we have to care. Join us in our vision of a world without breast cancer. We Will Find the Cure!
